The Archie Andrews Variety Show

It's a World Premiere! It stars the man who's been hailed as Britain's top ventriloquist - this time, bringing new life to a show-biz legend! And it's all happening in Eastbourne!

Steve Hewlett will be appearing at the Under Ground Theatre in October - with dummy Archie Andrews, a huge radio and tv success in the 1950s and '60s. There are to be just three performances of "The Archie Andrews Variety Show: Re-educating Archie": at 7.30pm on both Saturday 27th October and Sunday 28th, with a Sunday matinee at 2.30pm.

Steve is a man at the top of his game! He has entertained the Royal family, and featured in countless shows, alongside stars such as Sir Cliff Richard, Ken Dodd, Richard Digance, Omid Djalili, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand.

At the Under Ground, he'll be sharing the stage with, among others, Dave Evans as Max Bygraves and Harry Secombe, David Conway as scriptwriter Ronald Chesney, and Helen Ward-Jackson as Hattie Jacques, in what's described as a "magic and variety spectacular!" As Bruce Forsyth said: "I wish I was Steve Hewlett's agent!"
